Membership Fees & Requirements
Your AVAA membership includes access to professional recognition, exclusive development opportunities, and industry support.
All new members pay a one-off joining fee upon application, plus an annual subscription fee (pro-rated in your first year). Membership runs by calendar year: 1 January – 31 December, with annual renewal subject to:

Current Professional Indemnity Insurance (except Associate Members)

Submission of a valid Trust Account Audit Certificate (for auctioneer members)

Applying as a Valuer?
New Certified Practising Valuer applications are carefully reviewed to uphold our high standards. Applicants may be asked to:

Complete the Fundamentals of Valuing Goods & Chattels, Plant and Equipment course, based on AVAA Board review
We strongly recommend completing this course before applying. It’s your best step toward a successful application and recognition as a qualified valuer.
