Overview

This self-paced course is intended to provide students with an introductory level of the basic skills and procedures required for the valuation of goods and chattels, plant and equipment including preparing valuations, the overall valuation process and post valuation requirements.

Students are encouraged to progress through each of the five modules at their own pace. On conclusion of each module, students are required to complete a short quiz to assess their understanding of the course material.

At the completion of this course, you should have a preliminary understanding of the valuing process, terminology and the valuation industry. Please be aware that completion of this course does not qualify a student for entry to the AVAA as a Certified Practising Valuer member, however it is recommended for students wishing to begin the process by applying for Associate membership.
