New Look, New Direction

The AVAA is really excited to launch the new refreshed look for the Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia.

AVAA Australia

The AVAA Board has been working hard over the past year setting out the new strategic direction for the AVAA to reinvigorate our over half a century old association. We have listened, heard and engaged with our members over the past 12 months to understand what our members want. The refresh of the AVAA brand aims to modernise and make the AVAA more relevant to our members and stakeholders.

We will be emailing you over the next 4 weeks with more detail on some of our exciting changes planned for the next 12 months.

Exciting changes are here with more to come….

Our exciting changes are more substantial than just a new look. The journey begins now with the launch of our new website.

The new website has been completely overhauled with much more user friendly interface, search functions and a new platform for our members to promote their upcoming auctions to our newly established and growing database of potential buyers interested in all upcoming auctions.
The AVAA fields hundreds of calls a year from members of the public all around Australia seeking recommendations for valuers or auctioneers operating across arts, antiques, machinery, plant, equipment, goods and chattels. All of our calls are referred to the AVAA member database on the public website to increase the work of our AVAA members. Make sure your details and areas of expertise are up to date so you don’t miss out.
  • New look website with greater functionality
  • Grow your business – advertise your auctions and receive valuation leads
  • Member’s only resource centre
Educational offering
AVAA members have made it clear that they want more technical and advanced training as well as an ongoing requirement for members to meet technical standards. The AVAA will shortly be announcing new advanced educational offerings as well as new standards for AVAA membership that will be transitioned in over the coming 2 years.
Advocacy
The auctioneer and valuations industries are continually facing new challenges that represent both opportunities and threats. The AVAA will be working on behalf of the industry over the next 12 months to improve the operational framework for our members.
