An Active & Growing Community Of
Certified Valuers & Auctioneers

The Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia (AVAA) is the national professional body representing valuers and auctioneers working across fine art, antiques, collectables, household items, motor vehicles, aviation and marine, plant and equipment. AVAA supports the professionals who provide independent expert advice, build public trust, and uphold high standards of integrity, competence, and professionalism.

We provide professional certification through the respected AVAA Certified Valuer (CVAu) and AVAA Certified Auctioneer (CAAu) credentials. This certification provides a recognised benchmark of expertise, ethical conduct, and professional commitment, helping clients, businesses, insurers, courts, and government identify trusted professionals.

AVAA publishes the Australian Professional Standards for valuations and auctions, undertakes member-driven policy advocacy, provides professional development, and keeps members informed on industry issues.
