Peter Messer

Peter is a Director and co-owner of an Adelaide based Valuation and Auctioneering Company. Peter studied electronic engineering and was for many years involved with the audio industry. Peter’s interest in electronics led to asset valuation and remarketing of plant and machinery with a focus on IT and technical assets. He subsequently acquired his interest in his company, leading a team of valuers and auctioneers for more than two decades including many significant projects.

Peter identifies the importance and value of active industry engagement in relation to areas of impacts upon members and ultimately the public including proposed additions or changes to rules and regulations, particularly reflecting the rapid emergence of the online. Peter identifies the critical importance and value in having a balanced representation reflecting both the local and national perspectives in responding to these needs in the future.
